30 Years of Shakespeare in the Summer
The Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival has been producing outdoor summer performances for 30 years. Though our 30th season had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to take a look back through the years and celebrate our history with this snapshot photo gallery.
Here, you will find one picture from each year that the GVSF has been in operation. Each picture may be worth a thousand words, but we think it would take another few hundred thousand to fully capture the story of the GVSF! Hundreds of local artists have dedicated their time, energy, and immense talent to build the Festival that exists today. We couldn’t be more grateful.
